Rules and Requirements

Submitting

1. Students are required to fill out an online form to be considered
for the final competition. To submit your idea, visit the “submission” page or simply click here.

2. The deadline for ideas is Feb. 25th at midnight.

3. The facilitators of the competition, Spotlight Campus, along
with a panel of Lansing entrepreneurs and “Greenovators” will be going through submissions after midnight the 25th. The top 10 students will be
notified that they are finalists by Feb. 28th.

4. The top ten finalists will compete to be the Eve of Ignition
champion on March 3rd at 6:30 at the Hatch, located at the Technology
Innovation Center.

Remember:

Think carefully about your idea. When filling out the form, keep in mind that if selected, you will have to transfer your idea into a
5 minute idea pitch. And again, we are looking for ideas that are
“Green.” So if your idea involves sending dangerous toxins into the
environment, or doesn’t have any mechanism to help the environment,
then your idea may need some “tweaking”.
