Eve of Ignition

Eve of Ignition is an idea competition that is held before Ignite Lansing. It started right here in East Lansing at MSU, with local MSU entrepreneur Adam Root taking the crown for his business idea, Spartanicity. Like Ignite, Eve of Ignition tries to spur innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity in a local community. Unlike Ignite, however, Eve of Ignition is ONLY for students. (Though adults are welcome to attend! In fact, we encourage it!)  The Eve seeks students that have good ideas – be they for-profit ventures, creative inspirations, or community projects  – and encourages them to share those ideas with the community. Eve of Ignition unites the students directly with the “old folks” who are trying to get ideas flowing through Ignite.
